Bachelor of Business Studies Program (BBS)

Programme Objective

The Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) programme at the Faculty of Management (FOM) aims to develop students into competent managers capable of leading and innovating across various sectors. Recognizing the dynamic nature of today’s global environment, the programme emphasizes both theoretical understanding and practical skills essential for real-world management.

Graduates of the BBS programme will be prepared to work effectively in business, industry, and government, while also having the entrepreneurial acumen to generate employment opportunities for others.

The BBS programme specifically aims to:

  1. Provide Conceptual Knowledge
    Equip students with a solid foundation in business and administration to develop a well-rounded management perspective.

  2. Develop Managerial Skills & Attitude
    Foster the attitudes, abilities, and practical skills necessary for students to become competent and responsible business managers.

  3. Encourage Entrepreneurship
    Inspire entrepreneurial thinking and innovation, enabling students to become proactive change agents in Nepalese society.

  4. Prepare for Advanced Studies
    Build a strong academic base for those interested in pursuing higher education in management, as well as careers in teaching, research, and consultancy.

Curriculum Highlights Annual System (4 years) Core subjects include Management, Accounting, Marketing, HRM, and Finance. Specialization offered in the 4th year (Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management). Includes field-based project work and research.
